Joint Chiefs Chair Talks DADT with West Point Cadets Speaking at West Point, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, told graduating cadets that Congress, and not the military, is responsible for the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” law.
“It’s a law, and we follow it,” said Mullen and “should the law change, the military will carry that out too.”
